The Plansee Lake is an extraordinary stretch of water. More than 6 kilometres in length, it nestles between the ridges of the Zwiesel and Spießberg mountains and unites with the Heiterwang water almost 'secretly'. It is the second largest lake in the Tyrol and at its deepest point measures 76.5 metres. The Plansee Lake is one of the cleanest waters (water grade1) of the Tyrolean lakes.
A paradise for surfing, diving, sailing, snorkelling and swimming.

The Heiterwang Lake lies at an altitude of 1,000 metres and is of course ideal for swimming and relaxing. It is also very popular with joggers and hikers, as the trail round the lake is a wonderful landscape and very varied.
