A particularly lovely, circular route (awarded with the hiking trail 'Seal of Quality') with a breathtaking view of the 'Stuibenfälle' waterfall.
Walk from Mühl past the Metallwerk Plansee factory to the transformer station of Reutte's Electrical Works. From here continue to the right towards a rocky gorge, from which the Archbach brook flows over several rock ledges. Here is the beginning of the 'Hermannsteig' trail - a secured path along small waterfalls leads you to an open path and forest floor to the 'Großer Stuibenfall' waterfall. The serpentine path then leads to the so called 'Kanzel' and further to a second, somewhat smaller waterfall. From here there is a lovely view of the blue-green pools which lie below. Continue along the path to the bridge over the Plansee lake run-out to the Ministersteig trail. From here walk along the trail and cross the new suspension bridge, which is really worth seeing, back to the transformer station. Duration: about 11/2 hours.
