Wild Herb Outing- The diversity of flowers and herbs
Meadow sage, tormentil and field thyme – the plant kingdom in the Nature Park Tiroler Lech is famous for its extraordinary diversity of flowers and herbs.Already in the Middle Ages medicinal herbs were used in folk medicine and today they are still used in modern pharmacology. During your walk, you will learn a lot about the effects and use of local wild herbs. A nature park guide will offer tips for the collecting, drying, and creation of creams, tinctures, and tea.

„Friday free of charge“

On Safari- in the wetlands jungle near Pflach

Anyone who thinks that the jungle is a far away place will be amazed when they get to Pflach. Only a few steps from village, one is already in the floodplain primeval forest. On safari with a park ranger, "armed" with Swarovski binoculars, one passes still waters, the wild Tyrolean Lech River,and reed bedsinto the dense lowland forest jungle. There are many things to discover about the park and its features. And with a little luck and patience, you can get to see birds or other animals. This safari is suitable for all ages! No previous knowledgenecessary! Whoever wants to explore more after the safari tour: the bird trailinPflach and the bird observation tower are a must see.

Meet donkey, sheep and cow up close and personal
Why are some cows‘ horns missing? How does the wool come from sheep? Why do we need grass and straw? What are the animals fed? Everyday life on a farm is exciting and offers a lot of surprises. Our two farms (Landhaus Wex and Buchenhof) are typical farmsteads with cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and rabbits.Come on along and see what all happens on a farm. Heritage Museum Visit in the „Green House“

Das Museum im „Gruenen Haus“ is located in the Untermarkt of Reutte. In about 300 m2 of exhibition space, the varied history of the town of Reutte is presented. Salt trading and town‘s development are also topics as is the history of the Franciscan monestary. The famous Zeiller artist family is represented with valuable paintings. On the museum tour one can also take in the special exhibit on the 100th anniversary of the Ausserfern Railway. An exceptional highlight is the artwork of Anna Stainer-Knittel, better known as „Geierwally“. Did you know that Reutte is also on the moon? Find out why during your visit to the museum. We will meet at the Tourism Office in Reutte and will stroll over to the museum together.
