The Bike Trail Tyrol - over 800 kilometres in length - is the longest connected mountain bike circular route in the Alps.
The side routes, which are marked as connections to the main route, enable you to plan your tours individually. The Bike Trail Tyrol has 32 stages leading the adventurous biker right through the whole country. The starting point may be chosen at random, as there is no official beginning or end.
Losing your way is practically impossible, as the standardized system of signposting the trails leads the biker safely and without detours to his/her destination.
The Bike Trail Tyrol pictograms are easy to read and highly visible. The stages are divided up according to their length and degree of difficulty, so that the biker does not get onto the wrong route and feel himself/herself to be overtaxed or not sufficiently challenged.
The internet portal www.biketrail.tirol.at has information on biker-friendly hotels and guest houses along the routes, workshops and service stations. The site also gives important tips, so that the biker does not have to bother with a search for the information he/she needs.
