'Try it out' skiing course - Alpine skiing - for beginners only
Whoever would like to ski down the slopes of the Hahnenkamm mountain has the opportunity here to find out what it feels like to stand on skis! Duration about 2 hours.

Sunday:
'Eskimo' afternoon building an igloo
A lot of fun, adventure and an experience not only for the little ones! Constructing a protective building in ice and snow helps to give you an idea of the difficulties of an Eskimo's life, and is at the same time an interesting experience and 'survival training'.

Monday:
'Try it out' course in cross-country skiing
This popular sport is a guarantee for a healthy activity in the fresh air. The beginner is taught the rudimentary techniques, as well as how to negotiate slopes. Duration about 2 hours.

Get to know donkeys, sheep and cows – Children's Farm Experience
Why don't some breeds of cattle have horns? From sheep to pullover - how is the wool from a sheep processed? What do we need grass and straw for? What do the animals eat? Everyday life on the farm is really interesting and there are a whole lot of surprises in store for you. Our farm is really typical with cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, piglets, chickens and rabbits, too! Just come along and find out for yourself all about the work on a farm. Duration: about 2 ½ hours (minimum number of children in the group 4. Takes place in all weathers).

Monday:
Lantern-lit hike up to the Ehrenberg Castle
The path leads through the darkness up to the ruined castle Ehrenberg, illuminated only by the warm light of the lanterns. The splendid view of the valley basin of Reutte, covered in snow, and a beaker of mulled wine in the 'Falkenturm' tower, and you will forget the coldness of the air!

Tuesday:
Snow-shoe hike
A snow-shoe hike through the dreamy snowy winter landscape is really a unique experience. The trail leads up to the 'Kostaries' Chapel and via the romantic Frauenwald forest to the Frauensee Lake. The second variation: from Mühl via the Urisee Lake and Möslesteig trail to Pflach and back to Mühl. Hiking time about 3 to 4 hours. This is an easy hike, but a certain degree of fitness is necessary!

Animal tracking in the Nature Park Tyrolean River Lech
What do animals get up to in winter? This interesting question can be answered when observing animal tracks round the Riedener See Lake and the River Lech. The Nature Park Guide explains the survival strategies of the animals in winter and shows how the tracks in the snow can be recognized. Duration 2 hours.


Wednesday:
Winter walk to the Hüttenmühlsee Lake
On a nature trail you walk along the Archbach brook to the Hüttenmühlsee Lake, where you may observe birds, ducks and swans. The walk continues to the 'Plague Chapel' (Pestkapelle). The interesting talk of our guide leads you back to the terrible times of the Swedish Occupation during the 30 Year War. After this wonderful winter walk - it does not matter whether it is snowing or the sun is shining - you will feel invigorated and full of well-being. Duration about 2 hours.

Pony Day for Children
A day of looking after, grooming, feeding and of course, most important of all, riding ponies. Even without previous experience no problem: riding these shaggy, long-maned Iceland ponies is easy!

Ice climbing
Of course the weather must be frosty and really cold. Then - fun for young and old, the fit and the enterprising climbing the 'ice tower' in Höfen! You will be able to learn ice climbing with proper instruction and in complete safety. With the assistance of and tips from a professional you are sure to meet the challenge!

Easy snow-shoe hike along the slope near the Waldrast lift. Have you never been on a snow-shoe hike? Try it out and you will be enthralled! Kitted out with a headlamp and snow-shoes, you will find this an easy hike with a wonderful view of snowy Reutte and the illuminated castle ruins leading along the slope of the Waldrast hill. Duration about 2 hours. Alternative: an informative family hike around the Sintwag hill.

Friday:
Snow-shoe tour
The tour leads from the Ehrenberger Klause through the mysterious Klausenwald forest up to the Hohe Schloss Fortress with a fabulous view of the valley basin. A further variation, somewhat easier: from the Klause via the Gürten to the Karlift and back. Duration about 3 to 4 hours.

Friday:
Step by step, brick by brick
Visit the craftsmen of the Crafts Guild Museum (‚Zunftmuseum’)- take the train from Reutte to Bichlbach station and stroll up to the Crafts Guild Museum - the only one in Austria.
Follow in the footsteps of the builders and find out how these craftsmen worked and lived. The precious Craft Guild annals and processional poles bear witness to the pride and self-assurance of these craftsmen. Experience the gilding of the ‚Bichltuifl’ figure, or build a replica of the Guild Church and unravel many a mystery!

Hiking with torches along the Panoramahöhenweg in Wängle
Torch hike Panorama Trail Wängle
On this easy hike (on the cleared path) with one of the best views to our valley, there's much to tell. The statements of your guide to the prehistory to country and people of today will make this walk unforgettable. Duration 2 hours.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides - pure enjoyment in the snowy landscape
During a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride on out-of-the-way trails you will only be able to hear the snorting of the horses. Let your thoughts run free and enjoy the absolute stillness. Everyday stress disappears, and you will be forming a resolution to allow yourself such contemplative hours more often in future!
