Moist Carrot Cake for the Easter Season
Autumn is here – bringing with it that special atmosphere of golden sunshine, crisp air, and rustling leaves. The leaves dance in the wind, it’s getting cooler outside, and inside it feels cozier than ever. It’s the perfect time to turn on the oven and curl up on the couch with a little piece of sweet happiness. Today I’m sharing a recipe that not only smells wonderful while baking, but also pairs perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee: a cozy autumn cinnamon cake. Perfect for golden autumn afternoons, relaxed coffee get-togethers, or simply as a little comfort on grey days.
After carefully weighing and measuring all the ingredients, place them together in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Then pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
The cinnamon is carefully mixed with the sugar and melted butter. This cinnamon mixture is then spread evenly over the surface of the batter in the pan. Using a fork or a skewer, gently swirl the mixture into the batter to create a marbled pattern. The cake is then baked in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 25–30 minutes. (Baking time may vary depending on the pan and oven)
Once the cake is finished baking, remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool. Meanwhile, prepare the frosting by mixing the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Then spread the finished frosting over the still slightly warm cake – and it’s ready to enjoy.
Tip: Brushing the cake with a little milk before adding the frosting makes it even more moist. 😉
So now it’s your turn: preheat the oven, grab the cinnamon, and start baking! This cake is basically autumn in cake form – and once your kitchen starts to smell like it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
As for me, I’m off to enjoy a well-deserved cake break – with a fork in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. Have fun baking and enjoy every bite… but be careful: this cake is addictive. Trust me, I’m speaking from experience. 😉
