Trailarea Urisee Map Overview
Trail Access
The trail area is located on the outskirts of Reutte in Tyrol, close to the Lake Urisee car park. Situated in the forest beside and below the B179 Reutte bypass, the trails begin just beyond the pedestrian underpass at the Lake Urisee car park and descend towards the dog training area and the Hüttenmühl forest road.
There are two options for reaching the trail starts. Riders can either follow the asphalt road up to the Lake Urisee car park, pass through the underpass beneath the B179 bypass, and access the four trailheads located along the descending forest road. Alternatively, a steeper forest track branches off to the left approximately halfway up the road to Lake Urisee and also leads directly to the four trailheads.
Both routes involve a climb of around 60 metres of elevation gain to reach the start of the blue “D'Oachkätzla Line”.
Opening Period
According to the Tyrol MTB Model 2.0, the trails are open daily from 1 April to 31 October, from sunrise to sunset.
Flagship Project of the Association MTBausserfern
The Trailarea Urisee is the first trail-building project in Tyrol to be planned and constructed entirely by a local association. The trail area is open to all visitors free of charge, and membership of the MTBausserfern association is not required.
MTBausserfern warmly invites all mountain biking enthusiasts to discover this unique trail network. Visitors are encouraged to assess their riding abilities realistically, follow the trail rules, and ensure they wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
