This website www.reutte.com partially compliant with Conformance Level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, due to the non-compliances and the exemptions listed below.

The following content is not accessible because it does not comply with the applicable harmonised standard EN 301 549:

• On several pages, images are missing alternative text. This makes navigation to images with screen readers more difficult.
• On all pages, there are links without link text.
• On all pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
• On individual pages, no page title has been provided.
• On several pages, there are iframe elements without labels. This makes navigation to iframes with screen readers more difficult.
• On one page, the language specified in the HTML does not match the language of the page.
• On several pages, there are form fields without labels. This makes navigation to form fields with screen readers more difficult.
• On several pages, there are headings that either have no label or contain the attribute aria-hidden, meaning they cannot be accessed by screen readers.

The following content is not accessible because it represents a disproportionate burden:

Many older PDF and Word documents are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged, meaning that screen reader users cannot, or can only insufficiently, access their structural information. Therefore, WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) is not fulfilled.

For new PDF and Word documents, we plan to take accessibility requirements in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and, where possible, PDF/UA into account.

The following content is not accessible because it does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation:

Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform YouTube. For some of these videos, it is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions. Therefore, WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Prerecorded)) is not fulfilled.

We have assessed the costs of resolving this issue. At present, we consider this to represent a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We will evaluate possible alternatives.

Content provided by third parties, such as documents/posters for events or menu plans from businesses that are not within the municipality’s area of responsibility, is exempt from the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102. For such third-party content, no statement can be made regarding compliance with accessibility requirements.

If the response from the above contact is not satisfactory, you may file a complaint with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints filed online via the electronic contact form.

The FFG will examine whether the complaint relates to violations of the Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz (WZG), particularly to failure on the part of the federal government or associated institutions to comply with the accessibility requirements

If the complaint is justified, the FFG will make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures designed to remedy the problem.
