On the trail of the knights Ehrenberg Castle World

On a rugged rocky peak in a valley south of Reutte rise the defiant wall remains of the Ehrenberg castle ruins, Fort Claudia, the fortress at Schlosskopf and the Ehrenberger Klause.


Medieval fortresses, an interactive museum, a secret rock passage, viewing platforms for a magnificent view over the castle complexes and the valley basin, a 406-meter-long pedestrian suspension bridge spanning the valley and an inclined elevator for barrier-free access - these are the ingredients for an eventful day for the whole family. All this is on offer in the Ehrenberg Castle World, which lies on the historic Roman road Via Claudia Augusta.

On the trail of the knights. In each of the showrooms, guests experience the world of the Middle Ages up close.

Inclined elevators

It is also possible for people with limited mobility and the elderly to visit the attractions using the elevator.
