Eppas Guats – Winter Hiking & Enjoyment

Numerous winter hiking trails lead along prepared and signposted paths to huts open during winter in the Reutte Nature Park Region – most of them away from the bustle of the ski slopes. After a lovely walk through the snowy winter landscape, you can look forward to Eppas Guats in one of our cozy Winter Magic huts and rest stops.

Local specialties are lovingly prepared by our hosts using regional ingredients. Ten of our huts are open during winter, treating you to culinary delights such as Tyrolean cheese spaetzle, various homemade dumplings, or for those with a sweet tooth, Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce.

Whether before or after a long hike, the numerous alpine pastures and huts welcome guests even in winter. Visitors can warm up in the cozy lounge by the crackling fireplace while enjoying Tyrolean hospitality and traditional Tyrolean specialties.

  1. Take your WINTERGUIDE with included STAMP CARD along on your winter hike (available at the Tourist Information Office or at the Winter Magic Huts)
  2. Visit the winter magic huts and collect STAMPS
  3. Present at least 3 collected stamps in the tourist office in Reutte and pick up your GIFT

OUR TIP: Enjoy the special winter atmosphere under the clear starry sky and visit one of our cosy Winter Magic Huts in the evening – perfect as part of a winter hike, on snowshoes, or on touring skis!

 

The Dürrenberg Alm, Ehenbichler Alm, Vilser Alm, Cilli Hut and Singer Lodge are open on selected evenings, offering a warm alpine ambience, regional delicacies, and a friendly, social atmosphere. Please check the current opening times, as they may vary depending on weather conditions and the season.
